Hi! I’m Victor Puodziunas, co-creator of Beaten Up Athlete and husband of Dr. Vida. Even though I’m not a doctor, I’ve been an entrepreneur for over 20 years, mainly working in the healthcare industry. I’ve started, owned and operated multiple medical practices, large and small, and done everything in them except treat patients. My favorite part of healthcare is helping patients achieve their health goals by educating them, guiding them and helping them get through any barriers that they encounter.
I am a former Beaten Up Athlete myself. I had all kinds of aches and pains from playing sports for most of my life, had trouble sleeping from the constant stress of being an entrepreneur, and was constantly battling with gaining weight. With the help of my wife, I have no more pain. I exercise almost every day now, and am training to run my first marathon in January. I get a solid 8 hours of sleep a night and have my weight under control. My pant size hasn’t changed in over 15 years! I don’t take any medications and I feel as healthy now as I did when I was in my 20's.
Even though I was born in the United States, I am fluent in Lithuanian. I have also taught my children to speak, read and write Lithuanian.
I have an undergraduate degree in engineering and an MBA. I worked in the corporate world for about 10 years before becoming an entrepreneur and opening medical practices with my wife.
I’m a nerd. I’m good with numbers, financial stuff and technical things, even though I sometimes have to ask my kids how to do certain things with my phone.
I love the outdoors. That’s why we live in Florida, so we can enjoy the outdoors all year!
I’ve been a boy scout since I was 5 years old and became an eagle scout when I was 18. My entire family is involved in scouting as well.
